Tea With Wu Zun? Brunei Airline Scam

Last week the Brunei Airlines released a, "Tricky (Hua Yang) Brunei Three Days, Two Nights Self Trip" advertisement. It became an online hot topic and the organizer of this event explained that "there would be a chance to coincidentally meet Wu Zun at Brunei's Kingdom Hotel and will experience a wonderful afternoon tea". However, WU ZUN (of Fahrenheit) and his management company yesterday explained that they did not have any cooperations with the Brunei Airlines and insisted that the airline is using Wu Zun's name to attract tourists.

Yesterday the media wanted to know more information about this event and asked if they were really planning to organize Wu Zun to tea. Brunei Airline's ticket booker, Miss Lin, laughed loudly and said, "Of course not." When the media began to feel suspicious about the event being a big scam, it was then when Miss Lin noticed that the situation was getting too out of hand and immediately asked the head in charge of the promotion, Ye Gui Ying.

Ye Gui Ying explained, "Before we made this announcement we visited Wu Zun's blog and discovered that he appears in Brunei a lot, and since there are no direct lines to Brunei from Taiwan, we just wanted to use Wu Zun's name to promote Brunei. We wrote that there would be a chance to coincidentally meet Wu Zun. We did not say that there is a definite chance to meet him. The truth is, there is a chance. Wu Zun is from Brunei anyways.
"When the media and online fans read the advertisement, they misread the message and decided to prepare for the trip. Ye Gui Ying apogetically replied that the Brunei Airlines has approached Wu Zun about using him as their spokesperson. Since a tourism project is in procession, she admitted, "We are not sure if we will further on in this project. If doing this will arise ambuity, we will immediately cross the project off.

"Yesterday Wu Zun's manager explained that the airline did try to approach Wu Zun but because of crashing schedules, nothing resulted in the end. No one contacted them about the promotional message and therefore the management company immediately requested the message to be deleted. On the afternoon at around 6, Brunei Airlines deleted and took away any ads regarding tea with Wu Zun.
