In Fahrenheit, Jiro’s family background is the worst, after his father passed away, he still have to clear debts on his behalf, thus the determination to be famous is the biggest. A pity was that after filming “Hana Kimi†with Wu Zun, Jiro’s comedian methods could never win Wu Zun’s pretty devoted boy style. According to rumours, Jiro had once told a friend, saying sourly, “He (Wu Zun) knows how to have rumours with Ella (SHE member cum Hana female lead), the media will of course follow him.â€
Going solo, creating trouble
Recently Wu Zun even jumped out of Taiwan, flying to Hong Kong to meet up and have lunch with big directors like Stephen Chow, Ma Chu Cheng and Liu Wei Qiang, making Jiro even angrier. There was a Taiwan backstage crew heard Jiro said, “How come he suddenly flew to Hong Kong to have meals with directors? Is he really that famous?†Plus Jiro grumbled that Wu Zun can go solo and accept magazine’s personal interview, completely ignoring the team spirit of Fahrenheit. Since he could say this, it is obvious that he is jealous that Wu Zun is more popular than him.
Last week when Wu Zun reach Hong Kong, the airport already had 50 over fans waiting, with him were 5 assistants, and there’s even 20 security to open the pathway for him. On the way to Disney, there were 4 cars protecting. As a Taiwan idol who had only been out for a few years, yet receiving such treatment in Hong Kong, it is indeed very rare.
On the opposite, when Jiro, Calvin and Arron reach Hong Kong, the atmosphere was very different. On that day, every reporter at the scene had itnessed, the four of them separate into 2 gangs, Jiro and Wu Zun almost had zero interaction.
Five star gymnasium
Wu Zun’s second gymnasium has a total of 3 floor, the total area is about 3000 foot. Other than complete gymnasium equipments, there is also swimming pool, rock climbing, basketball court etc. And on the other side of the gymnasium, there is also a hotel, with approximately 40 rooms, the structure and comfortable level is comparable to a five star hotel.
Night Swim with Personal Troubles
On Monday, around 12 midnight, Wu Zun who had left the gymnasium went secretly back to the company and had a night swim with the person who discovered him in cinema, invited him for an audition and signed him up with Comic Productions, Ah Ken. 2 of them were swimming in the pool, chatting and talking. Wu Zun moved his hands once in a while, looking as if he was telling all his woes to his good friend. However, he hasn’t been in the water for 10 minutes when he was discovered by fans, Wu Zun immediately came up the water and left.
Wu Zun had prepared 3 years for this gymnasium, and spent tens of millions of NT money (approx. HK$25M). His family, which apparently owns the sole dealership of Mitsubishi automobiles in Brunei, is purportedly one of the richest in the country.
He made his name in Taiwanese idol dramas and is also part of the boy band Fahrenheit, which includes Calvin Chen, Jiro Wang and Aaron Yan.
Why he's hot: Although Wu Chun made his debut in the idol drama KO One only in 2005, he's taken the scene by storm.
He hit it big with his role as the brooding high-jump champion Quan in last year's popular idol drama Hanazakarino Kimitachihe (Hana Kimi), which starred Ella from girl group S.H.E.
What's more, Fahrenheit has been touted as the successors to Taiwan's hottest boy band F4, and Wu Chun is undoubtedly its most popular member.

Four thousand fans also jammed a shopping mall to meet the boys later in the day.

He added: 'He's cute and well-built and most importantly, he appeals to the audience.
'Once you have that down pat, you don't actually need much potential because the rest is all about packaging.'

He plays a super smart but icy cold student, Jiang Zhishu, whom Ariel is in love with.
Nicknamed 'Xiao Zong', the 25-year-old may not be as pretty as Wu Chun or as chiselled as Mike, but Joe has won fans with his fun persona and crazy sense of humour.
When he visited Hong Kong with Ariel to promote It Started With A Kiss last month, more than 1,000 fans turned up at a shopping mall to see them.
He reportedly created such a stir while filming a food programme at a food street that the producers had to cordon off the area to prevent enamoured fans from constantly approaching him and interrupting the recording.

"They want to feature me in the country where I grew up, to know more about Brunei and so on. But I am currently busy with my own film that I cannot do this now. However, the Brunei Tourism has offered me full support if the show should start filming soon," he said.

Brunei's rising star Wu Chun could one day become a tourism ambassador for the Sultanate and help bring in more tourists from Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.
Wu Chun, who is a professional fitness coach and lead star of Taiwanese drama "Tokyo Juliet" and one of the members of Taiwanese boy band "Fahrenheit", would be an excellent candidate to become Brunei's tourism ambassador particularly in the Chinese market.
This observation was made by Brunei Tourism Chief Sheikh Jamaluddin during the opening ceremony of Palm Garden Hotel and Fitness Zone's new multi-storey fitness centre in Kiulap yesterday. He said that he was surprised to see that fans of Wu Chun and foreign paparazzi had followed him from Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Making a popular artiste as a tourism ambassador is not a new thing. Jackie Chan for instance was made a tourism ambassador for Hong Kong in 2003.
As a rising star in Taiwan and Hong Kong, Wu Chun would be an excellent spokesperson for Brunei, said Sheikh Jamaluddin.
However, the tourism chief said that the idea of giving Wu Chun such a role would first have to be reviewed by the board.
In an interview, Wu Chun told the Bulletin that he looked forward to becoming a tourism ambassador, saying that he would like to do his part in promoting Brunei tourism.
Some fans at yesterday's event, meanwhile, said that Wu Chun's popularity in the Sultanate would skyrocket if he could learn how to sing in Malay or act in Malay dramas.
Even though Wu Chun is one of the members of "Fahrenheit" -and a leading actor in Taiwanese dramas, most locals, particularly those who do not speak Chinese, are not familiar with him.
Wu Chun, whose real name is Goh Kiat Chun, was born in Brunei and is of Chinese descent, He was discovered when he travelled to Taiwan and was asked to become a main character (despite his then-lack of Mandarin fluency) in the Taiwanese drama "Tokyo Juliet", which catapulted him to a star.

Prior to entering showbiz, he was a model and fitness instructor. He graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Also present was Brunei's rising star Wu Chun who is also the Chairman of Palm Garden Hotel and Fitness Zone.
The one-day event included stage performances, fitness activities and competitions. Meanwhile, the Palm Garden Hotel and Fitness Zone contributed $10,000 to the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Mutahdee Billah Orphans Fund.
The minister said that efforts in providing fitness centres in the country are most welcome, as people of all ages are nowadays more aware about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Furthermore, it also creates a healthy competition among entrepreneurs, where the prime objective is to create a healthy and fit society, he added.
"This is a valuable investment towards producing a physically and mentally strong society for the nation's development," said the minister who also welcomed the establishment of the new hotel in Kiulap.

Wu Zun is good at managing business, yesterday his second gymnasium at Brunei is officially open, more than 1000 fans ‘from 8 countries’ came as a mass to chase after him. Wu Chun is back to get Bruneians fit
GOH Kiat Chun, otherwise more popularly known as 'Wu Chun', is back in Brunei. And he is not only opening a new gym, Fitness Zone, but also creating more jobs for local, and bringing more fans from abroad.
He talked about the developments of his new gym, Fitness Zone, which is located in Kiulap, to the press yesterday.
Although the date of the opening was pushed back a little from the planned schedule, it didn't affect his spirit.
Chun explained that "the difficulty was due to the fact that he personally wanted to oversee the entire project, and it was difficult to do so while he was in Taiwan completing his various other projects".
"From the start to the finish, I wanted to be hands-on this gym. So, I monitored everything, from the initial plan to the designs and the drawings. I did all that," he tried to explain.
"But sometimes, when I flew back from Taiwan, there were things that didn't go according to the plan and needed to be changed or corrected," mentioned Chun.
The opening of the new gym came with a ripple effect. It creates not just a number of new jobs for locals and foreigners, but also a small boost in tourism.
Over 50 foreign fans from Taiwan are coming, also from Japan and China. On top of that, foreign media come as well to cover opening.
"Previously, we had a total of 15 employees, but right now there are about 45 employees working for Fitness Zone, not including the hotel staff in the Palm Garden Hotel, the adjoining hotel next to the Kiulap Fitness Zone," he added.
"I'm very happy and grateful that I can help promote Brunei as well. There is a travel program in Taiwan which is interested in filming Brunei. But unfortunately now I do not have the time. I am also grateful that I have the support of Brunei Tourism to promote Brunei," he said.
When asked about the health brochures lying around at his gym, Chun explained that he had asked his staff members to make a trip down to the Ministry of Health, where these brochures were obtained from. He, then, displayed it in his gym to promote healthy lifestyle.
"Health and healthy living is important for me, especially to educate the Bruneians about what healthy living is. Bruneians should just know how to burn whatever they are consuming," said Chun.
"Personally for me, I believe that prevention is better than cure, and because I love to eat so much, I must know how to burn what I take in, to prevent complications or illnesses when I'm getting older," he added.
The gym will be a nice place to hang around. There are current plans for a juice bar to be built in the member's lounge of the gym.
Chun is leaving Brunei today for an event in Hong Kong, but he will be back in time for the opening ceremony.The opening ceremony on Friday will include a number of activities and prizes and a special autograph and picture taking session with Wu Chun.
