For Angela, Wu Zun jumps into sea for the first time in his life.
Throughout the process, he did not use any replacements and kept swimming for 4 hours till he got exhausted. The director even laughed that wu zun's stamina is too weak!
Wu Zun is a gym instructor and his body is muscular, but his stamina isn't as good as expected. For Romantic Princess, this is the first time he jumps into the sea wearing a formal suit. When the suit is wet, it added on to his body weight and he suffered for a total of 4 hours. Once he got out of water he kept panting and his legs have no more energy.
The director kept laughing at wu zun, saying, "You're a young guy, why is your stamina so bad?!" And wu zun can only joke back, "There are sharks in the sea!" In actual fact, there are no sharks in the sea. Even as wu zun was swimming in the sea, he was very scared. Although there are no dialogues for him to say, wu zun kept mumbling to himself, "so dark! so scary!" he even gulped some sea water and complained "Why is it so salty!"
After swimming for an afternoon, the director still refused to let wu zun go. Wearing the suit, drenched from head till toe, he still had to run on the road after they got on shore. After running for 4 to 5 rounds, wu zun was totally exhausted and the director laughed at him again, saying "Young guy, stamina is so bad!!" And wu zun immediately said "Again!" and forced himself to do it again.
Wu zun said, throughout the filming of RP, being drenched in the rain, speeding, swimming are all ok to him, but jumping into the sea is a rare experience. The director never even ask him if he needs a replacement actor and just asked him to drive the boat to the sea and jump in.
Although he got laughed at for having no stamina, the crew kept complimenting that he looks very handsome even when he's drenched, hence he was also very happy.
