Background Info:

Wu Zun is part of Fahrenheit, an extremely popular Taiwanese Boy Band consisting of four members him, Arron, Calvin and Jiro. They were formed in 2006, under the management of H.I.M. Most of the band members shot to fame in the TV series called [KO One] whilst Wu Zun made his debut in the series [Tokyo Juliet]. They quickly became one of the most popular boy bands in Taiwan, and released their debut album on the 15th of September 2006. It was a huge success in both Taiwan and overseas. They have received numerous awards in the past year, including awards such as Best Newcomer Bands and Best Duet for their famous duet with Hebe from S.H.E called [Only have feelings for you (只對你有感覺)].

Wu Chun, real name Goh Kiat Chun, was born in Brunei of Chinese descent. He was discovered when he traveled to Taiwan and was asked to become a main character (despite his then-lack of Mandarin fluency) in the Taiwanese drama Tokyo Juliet, with which he shot to fame. Later, he also joined the popular Taiwanese boy band Fahrenheit. Prior to entering showbiz, he was a model and fitness instructor. He graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and later opened his own gym Fitness Zone (http://www.fitnesszone.com.bn/newsletter/may2005p1.htm) back in Brunei. In 2006, he starred in Hua Yang Shao Nian Shao Nu which was one of the top rating dramas and has seen his popularity soaring Asia-wide.

Wu Zun was born in Brunei and thus his mandarin wasn't the best when he began acting. Which meant he was dubbed in the series Tokyo Juliet. He was known to be the quiet one in Fahrenheit, yet proved all wrong when his mandarin began to improve and turned out to be a rather hilarious member. This meant that he wasn't dubbed in his newest and most popular series Hana Kimi. Although he is only a newbie into acting, he has already scored himself 2 lead roles with the hottest actresses around, Ariel Lin Yi Chen (whom he partnered in Tokyo Juliet) and Ella Chen Jia Hua (the female lead of Hana Kimi). Working with both have caused various rumours being stirred, especially about him dating one of them. Yet, he has calmly responded he is merely 'just friend' with those two.

Wu Zun has also appeared in several magazine covers, including the famous PLAY, COLOR and even CASHBOX. And not only did he appear once, but more than twice for magazines such as PLAY (excluding the times he appeared with Fahrenheit). His good looks and hot body has earned him the nickname of An Angel's face, yet a devil's body. He regularly tries to work out to keep his body in shape, but has sadly been unable to do so with his tight schedule, yet tries to fit them in into any spare time he has to keep up the body and prevent himself from gaining weight. As, all the dearest Fans of Wu Zun would know he is a food magnet (where he is attracted to the food).

Wu Zun's voice ranges from within the bass-baritone to the upper-baritone. Therefore, Wu usually harmonizes as the supporting voice but sings more in songs when they are intended for a lower key. Wu's voice can be easily distinguished from his accent.

Hana-Kimi's pilot episode started off strong, posting a rating of 3.05 Until the premiere of Show Luo and Barbie Xu's Corner With Love, Hana-Kimi was the ratings king in its time slot. Barbie Xu bet that Corner With Love's first episode would reach a ratings zenith of 2.9; however, she was off by quite a bit, as Corner wound up with a mere 2.81, peaking at around 3.25. Corner With Love proved to be no match for Hana-Kimi in subsequent episodes, as the latter drama's ratings broke 5.0 by its twelfth episode. Ratings-wise, Hana-Kimi was dominant for each of its 15 episodes, ending off with a finale that averaged around 5.98. In light of Hana-Kimi 's success, reports claimed that Selina and Wu would be acting in the sequel to It Started With A Kiss as a couple. However, the director of the sequel stepped out and rebunked the rumor. Wang and Yan will also return for the sequel, reprising their original roles. Meanwhile, Wu, Wang, and Ella have been casted once again to star in the sequel to Hana-Kimi as Zuo Yi Quan, Jin Xiu Yi, and Lu Rui Xi, respectively. Reports revealed that filming for Hana-Kimi II will begin in the winter of 2007.

In a recent report at Liberty Times, it is confirmed that Wu will be starring in a new manga-based drama alongside Angela Chang. Chen will also take part as the second male lead in the drama. If on schedule, it is reported that filming will begin in early May.

Aside, it is also reported in various Chinese sources that Wu will be starring in a new Hong Kong-based film with Gillian Chung of Twins. Another report claimed that Wu is currently preparing for a new drama directed by actor/director Stephen Chow. On April 27, 2007, the media announced that Alex Fong will take Wu's place in the new Hong Kong film, Bathing Beauty (出水芙蓉). However reports claiming a future project with Chow is still unconfirmed.
